In the first year, the three subjects r anatomy, physiology and biochemistry. Many find difficulties with Anatomy as it pure mugging. Many don’t like Physiology as it is so vast.
In the final year, it’s surgery, medicine and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Some have no aptitude towards General Medicine like me. Many find surgery difficult as you need to learn about many symptoms of surgical condition without having encountered them. Although I liked surgery. Some students have a natural affinity towards O & G and excel in it. So it depends on your cup of tea.
but whatever ur liking, if you stick to that subject for post graduate, you will excel in it.
So the hardest thing in medical college is not to lose focus and get distracted by all the activities being done by your friends outside. Then every subject will be hard.
