Well, I am eligible to answer this question because I am also a Gold Medalist in bachelor of Pharmacy 2007-2011 batch. I was very lucky as I was able to meet His Excellency
Honorable Late Ex-President of India Dr. Kalam sir. Here I attached some of my convocation pics. The main criteria to get Gold Medal is that you should be university Ranker throughout the course period (this condition might vary, but it was there during my graduation). First you need to answer these two questions yourself - Why do you want gold medal and What will this gold medal lead you ? Whatever it is, you need to work really hard, just not for results but to gain knowledge and to enhance your academic career. Don't just think to attend classes for name sake. Do with your utmost sincerity and dedication. Participate in various conferences/workshops/symposiums etc. Excel in everything you participate. Don't work for the outcomes, just do it with your interest. You will get it for sure. All the best.
