your personality will receive extra fuel and inspiration for full development
you will get a much better understanding of the world and your place in it
you will gain additional viewpoints from outside your culture which may help you master life better
you may become fluent in your chosen field in an important, foreign language
you may receive a better education than at home
you will always be the person with the valuable outside perspective in working life
you will learn how to live and manage life by yourself
you will create a foreign network
