Are you a a permanent resident of Canada? If you aren’t you can’t apply to Western’s medical program so why would you come to Canada to study at Western specifically?Citizenship
Applicants to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program must be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada at the time of application. Permanent Residents of Canada must submit a copy of the front and back of their current Permanent Residency card to OMSAS by the application deadline. You should do some research on being an international medicine wannabe not sponsored by your home government thinking of studying medicine in Canada. Most schools do not accept International applicants and the ones that do will charge you $60,000 to $90,000 per year. Plus you have to have a minimum of $10,000 per year for living expenses. There are less than 10 seats across the entirety of Canadian medical schools for International applicants.
