Yes it is perfectly okay if you fail 1st year MBBS …lot of factors play into the prof exams …your state of mind on the day of the exam…the externals and your internal examiner …and sometimes just pure luck… …getting some topics that you were not confident in etc.I ve seen some of the most brilliant people in my class fail just because they got nervous and weren't able to answer during the exam..or had difficulty in communicating what they know … it happens and such things are beyond your control …But that doesn't mean you shouldn't work hard…there will always be certain topics in 1st prof that you would have found hard …and made you lose confidence on the day of the exam …you alone will know best what went wrong during your exam so work on that.Don't lose hope …you have a long long way to go …it's the most frustrating and brilliantly satisfying journey you ll make in your life and you are just entering …Hard work is the best way forward
