IITs are famous for their B. Tech. students and JEEs are one of the toughest to clear. But in Masters level, the quality of the students is not as good.
In foreign college, you will also get to interact with a very versatile crowd.
I once read somewhere that an IIT professor was saying, "B. Techs are our main product, M. Techs are our by-product and PhDs are our waste product".
