First, work your ass off to up your GPA. As a premed, your course choices will be limited because of the many prerequisites for medical school. That means it is difficult to game the system and take only easy courses. Also understand that as well as the GPA, you will have to deal with the MCAT exam, which some schools weight very heavily for selection. Finally, ask the UofT counselors what you should do. Does the school look for extracurricular things like volunteering for the old folks home? Or do they go stricly on academic achievement and the MCAT? Good luck, its a good school.
