You need to ask yourself these questions
Did I take medicine ( MBBS) out of my own choice and was the decision entirely my own ?
Do you feel committed to the profession ?
Are you willing to make all the sacrifices that this profession requires you to make?
Did you fail because you were not able to understand the subjects, put in the hours needed , didn't feel interested in it ?
If the answer to any of the first 3 questions is NO and the 4th question is YES , my sincere advice would be to get out now !Cut your losses !Get out of medical college now ! There is no better time to get out than now !Take up a gap year if you want and answer some other entrance to another course of your choice if you have to.If you have any other skill that can be developed into a monetary gain , please do thatMost doctors are terribly unhappy with their professional life and they regret taking it. They wish they could go back and change it. Unfortunately, very few were successfully able to quit medicine and switch to something else.And I am not saying this casually or out of inexperience.I am a doctor withsuper specialisations and 19 years of experience. And I regret this profession. And also I would like to say that I did not take this out of my choice choice. I was forced into it and I have always felt caged and suffocated.I really really think medical profession ruined my dreams and gave me only hardshipsSo please talk to the other doctors you know about how the rest of the medical studies are , how a doctor's professional life is , what were the effects on their personal life , health , emotional and mental well being and make an informed choice for yourself
