Thanks for asking. Basically you can do your MD from anywhere on this Earth. I tend to say - "do your masters from Indian Private Medical College" for many reasons.
First, the time & effort you need to spend for USMLE or any exam is not less.
Second, it is difficult to get residency seat in UK & US now.
Third, the total money spend to complete MD from any other nation is higher than that of Indian Private Medical College.
Forth, the university/school you'll do MD from must follow Medical Council of India's those schedules.
Fifth, you may have to appear in Medical Council of India's one infamous exam for practice in India.
Sixth, studying in another country is not so easy.
Seventh, it is of lesser importance but actually where you'll practice, facing such patients is important.
I am around business, I will always tend to calculate Return of Investment. From the points - amount of time & money spend to obtain degree from abroad appear to be worser option to me when Indian Private Medical College exists.
In case of Private Medical College, within 3 years you are getting a masters degree which is MCI recognized. It is not that I love Private Medical College but when you want to have a masters degree & there are real problems in India to obtain an MD from Government Medical College, then that option appears cost & time effective to me.
If you asked, "will I do MCh from other nation?" then the answer would be yes unless the targeted MCh seat exists in Government Medical College plus India does not have enough choice for MCh.
