Compared to other platforms for medical education and review, Lecturio gives you more bang for your buck. Unlike other platforms that will only give you a qbank or just a subscription to gain access to videos, Lecturio provides both the lecture videos and the qbank to those who subscribe to their platform. They also have extra features like the short quizzes at the end of the lecture videos to assess what you learned from the lecture. Their system uses a technique called spaced repetition to allow learners to refresh the information in their memory and eventually master the information.
One of the most important things for someone who is preparing for the USMLE is the Qbank. Lecturio has a very good qbank. Subscribers are given the opportunity to personalize and build their own exam. They are also given the option to take the exam with a time limit or to take the exam at their own pace. When you do take the exam at your own pace, I suggest that you turn the Tutor Mode on to have detailed explanation about the answer and a quick overview of the choices. It’s very helpful.
