When you come to LH one of the first things visible is the UG Hostel Gate.Though you're just asking for pictures of room, I am writing a short review with it. Every year girls ask this question.About hostels in LH, I will try to be honest. I think, if I get to rate our hostels, I will rate them 6/10 or 7/10. This may vary from person to person. I have been living in hostels almost continuously from the past two years, sparing the weekends.Inside the hostels you won't realise about the crowd and hassle of Connaught Place. It's all quite and serene. Very green.About the rooms, we have four Blocks in LH Hostels - North Block, South Block, West Block and Centenary Block ( Names are in no way related to the region you come from, if you just thought that way)
NORTH BLOCK AND SOUTH BLOCK
These are the blocks newcomers get. These are three seaters. On two rooms, we have one toilet and bathroom. Bathrooms have geysers. They are regularly cleaned.
One makes many beautiful ‘first year’ memories here. Having personal toilet and bathrooms is a real luxury.
2. CENTENARY BLOCK
This one is the newest editions to our hostels.
Well furnished, with beautiful marble floors and rooms, everyone in first year dreams about them.
Towards the end of first year, we shift to our new rooms in here, which are double seaters.
Common Washroom areas for floor.
3. WEST BLOCK
These are one of the oldest hostels.
Have single and double seaters.
Some of us shift to west blocks after first year.
Single seaters are allotted in Final year.
Washroom areas are common for a floor.
As it is the oldest building it comes with it's own set of flaws. Infrastructure is a bit of a worry at times.
It has the legendary West Block ki roof. This place gives the most beautiful views. It has a sense of freedom in it.
Overall, our hostels are good, but like any other govt. college, it has it's own flaws. It depends on you, which side you want to look at.
We change 3 rooms in this 5 year duration. It is very tiring at times. But excitement of entering a new room and a new place is totally amazing.
Being an all girls college, hostels offers you great freedom. You will eventually find yourself confident enough to take a walk around CP in your Pyjamas in evening.
Rest you can ask, if you have any doubts.

Thank you!
